Six out of nine is enough.

Every task has a threshold. Here nine people take part and it's set at 60 percent, so six are needed. Whoever can't today doesn't let the group down, and whoever can carries the rest along.

Kinds of task: steps, quiz question, scan a QR code, poll, choose together, text and number

How it works

From group chat to coffee.

  1. Someone starts

A name is enough. Add a date, a place and a reward if you like. You invite the group with a link.

  2. Everyone does what they can

On your phone or in your browser, whenever it suits you. Walking, answering a question, scanning a code.

  3. Enough is enough

When the group reaches the threshold, the task is done, for everyone. There's no leaderboard and no winner.

  4. Collect it together

Everything done? Then the reward is ready at the shop that offers it.

For municipalities, schools and employers

More than an app.

An app on its own brings nobody together. So we organise it with you, from the first idea to the coffee at the baker's. Online in the app, and offline in the neighbourhood.

The tools

Challenges, tasks, the meter, a chat for every group and rewards. On iPhone, Android and in the browser.

What we do
  1. Thinking it up together

We make the challenges with you, around your theme, programme or lesson. With your own questions, polls and tasks.

  2. Bringing the neighbourhood in

We get in touch with businesses, clubs and schools in the area and keep those relationships going. They become the places where the rewards are.

  3. Making it happen on the street

We make it happen in practice too. Anyone without a phone, or who can't or doesn't dare, takes part on paper or on the spot.

  4. Showing what it achieved

You see how many people took part and what they answered. So you know what works, for next time.

The reward is at the shop around the corner.

A coffee, a slice of apple pie, a bookmark. When a group has done everything, they come and collect it from you. At the till someone swipes across their screen and you see straight away that it's genuine.

A collected reward in the app: a cup of coffee at Koffiehuis de Toren, with the time it was collected and a clock that keeps running

Questions

What you want to know.

All questions →
Do I have to install an app?

No. Peerpep also works in your browser, at app.peerpep.eu. Prefer an app? There's one for iPhone and Android.

Does taking part cost anything?

Not at the moment. All challenges on Peerpep are currently free.

What if not everyone takes part?

They don't have to. Every task has a threshold, for example 60 percent of the group. When the group reaches it, the task counts for everyone.

Who sees my answers?

Other participants see that you contributed, not what you answered. Whoever made the challenge, whoever runs it for a municipality, school or employer, and the Peerpep team see your answers with your name. In an anonymous poll nobody sees what you chose.

How do I collect a reward?

When the group has done every task, the reward appears in the app. You show it at the shop and swipe across the screen, so the staff can see it's genuine.

Can I take part without a phone?

In a challenge run by a school or municipality, the organiser can print it and enter your answers later. You count just the same.
