Peerpep

For municipalities

A neighbourhood that knows each other.

Challenges residents complete together, around your theme or programme. We set them up with you, in the app and on the street.

Sanne coordinates a neighbourhood of four hundred households around one square. With Peerpep she sets up a challenge: three short questions about the square, a walk past the new benches and a coffee at the community centre as the reward. Residents join in whenever it suits them. Anyone without a phone fills in the form at the community centre.

Discovering in the Peerpep app: challenges near you, with the distance and how many more people are needed
This is how it looks in the app.

What you do with it

From having a say to moving together.

  1. A say in the neighbourhood

A poll or a joint choice about the square, the playground or the new bench. The result counts once enough residents take part.

  2. Moving together

A walking challenge for each neighbourhood. Residents walk towards a shared goal, each at their own pace.

  3. Discovering your town

A trail with QR codes at the monument, the park and the library.

  4. Strengthening programmes

Link a challenge to a theme week, an event or a running project, so more people take part than the usual few.

What a challenge looks like

Have your say on the square

What we do

We set it up with you, in the neighbourhood.

  1. Thinking it up together

We make the challenges with you, around your theme or programme.

  2. Bringing the area in

We bring in businesses, clubs and the community centre as places for the rewards.

  3. Looking back

Afterwards you see how many residents took part and what they answered.

Questions

What you want to know.

All questions →
Can it be for one neighbourhood?

Yes. A challenge or a community can be about one area. In the app, residents see the challenges near them first.

What does the municipality get back?

For each challenge you see how many people took part and what they answered, polls included. For an anonymous poll you see the result without names.

Can people without a smartphone take part?

Yes. You can print a challenge as a form and enter the answers later. Whoever takes part on paper counts towards the threshold just the same.

What about privacy?

Peerpep shows no advertising and uses no tracking cookies. Locations are rounded to about 800 metres. The privacy statement (in Dutch) says exactly which data we process.

What does it cost?

That depends on what we set up together. Email gerd@peerpep.eu for a first conversation.

Shall we set it up together?

Tell us about your neighbourhood or your programme. We'll help think up the first challenge and who to bring in.
